Lately, I have been sort of wishing I lived in a barn.
My favorite company, Schoolhouse Electric, has realized my dreams with this simple factory light.
I love it for a kitchen or over a dining room table.
Casual, but chic, no?

Have you seen Maxwell Gilkingham-Ryan’s cozy/artsy/funky house and barn on Long Island?
Ooh! I’ll be sure to take a look – Thanks!
Alicia – I also just found your blog via ABM, though I rlaiezed I also frequent the places you’ve been featured on like H of Turquoise and Apt Therapy. Wow, have I been missing out! I just spent a couple of hours surfing around your blog(s) and even took a look at your SB pages on Two Peas. I am in LOVE with your creative talents! I am so thrilled to find your blog, it really speaks to an aesthetic I’ve had vaguely floating around in my heart. I couldn’t quite figure out how to blend my love for bright colors, esp. lime and turquoise, with my desire to paint everything gray and black. I had no clue how to blend my favorite pieces of beat up junk with my ever growing want for clean, modern pieces. I really had an AHA! moment when I saw your big screen tv in front of a gray wall, decorated with vintage paint by numbers. I’m a huge new fan!!January 21, 2013 3:41 pm
