Today, I’ve rounded up a few of my favorite household utility products that can take your living spaces from “meh” to “oh yeah” without breaking the bank. I’ve made an effort to avoid plastics and to source from smaller companies instead of big box stores. Let’s get into it!

1. Oak Shaker Peg Rails

These beauties are sold in varying widths, and I use them all over our home. They are perfect for hanging aprons and oven mitts in the kitchen, hats, jackets, and bags in an entry, and necklaces and dress-up gear in a playroom.

2. Toilet Brush with Wooden Holder

Who knew a toilet brush could be pretty and stylish? Now we all do.

3. Clear Glass Bottles

Perfect for elevating your cleaning supplies, shampoo and conditioner, or hand and dish soap, these glass bottles can be purchased with a pump or spray trigger.

4. Reusable Glass Coffee Cup

Stylish and sustainable? Check and check. This beauty comes in black or white. The cork is a nice detail, and the lid is BPA free, so you can enjoy your next coffee without all the chemicals.

5. Spanish Oil Pitcher

This beautiful and functional olive oil pitcher pours the perfect stream every time, and is lovely to look at.

6. Wood String Tidy

What’s cuter than this oak string tidy, complete with a set of stainless steel scissors? Super handy for cooking, baking, crafting, and gift wrap.

These stylish household utility items can elevate your home and boost your mood. Because it’s the little things, Amiright?!

P.S. Have you ever wondered what happens when a chef and an organizing expert come together to create an interactive kitchen makeover program? Find out this week! This is going to be good…

  1. Do you have a recommendation for nice looking plastic pumps for shampoo and conditioner in the shower? I’m afraid of being clumsy and shattering the glass bottles in the shower.
