No mud room? No entry closet? What’s a girl to do?!

If you are like many people living in tight quarters, (myself included) you may be wondering where on earth to put your stuff when you walk in the door – hats, bags, coats, mail etc. Here are a few very simple ideas:

1. Hooks! If you don’t have a closet or space for a full coat rack, these guys  from Schoolhouse Electric will do the trick for coats, hats and scarves.

2. Bins: I like this sturdy felt friend from DWR for tossing shoes or rain boots.

3. I love these wall-mounted vintage wall pockets from See Jane Work for mail and magazines.

I like to customize entry solutions that are pretty and inviting with a place for all the essentials. I am loving this image from apaperaeroplane.tumblr.com –  Pretty pretty, right?
